Not that any of you care or that I was ever really gone, but with hunting season almost over it's time to get back after the crappie.
I have trips to Glen planned 3 out of the next 5 weekend pending ice and weather and if work ever lays down a little should be back out on the local lakes in the afternoon. Happy fishing everyone. Tonight I am headed over to Manhattan for Big Monday. Going to hit Aggieville about 4, that should give me 3 hours of warm up to get ready to cheer on the Cats!!!

Aw shucks! Now Nick and his crew will be out there seining up all the crappie and just adding more woes to my already struggling fishing life. :yikes :biggrin;)
Note to myself get binoculars on boat to try and pick up some locations and techniques from the crappie seiners.
Hope to run into you fellows on the water but I'm a early bird fisher and my fishing energies are pretty well expended come the afternoon time frame but I will be looking forward to seeing some less boring pictures than the ones I have posted.
Good luck on your trips to GE...have a friend that retired out there...talked to his son today who lives here in town today. They have been bringing in some real nice stringers of crappies....hope the cats can pull off at least 4 out of 5 wins in their remaining games. Trying to understand how Martin justifies his subbing during some of his gamesbanghead. If they get healthy they have the ability to go far in the tourney. They need that to get in the big dance. :)
