Lithia can be good this time of year for sure. Usually 10-15 foot deep.. I haven't been down that far yet this year as the North bite has stayed pretty consistant so far. Low light conditions can put the fish up in the water column and a fixed cork at 4-6 foot works well.. I sometimes get tired of looking at the same water and wander down south just for a change of scenery..I spend most all the summer down on the south end bass fishing
Ok thank for the Infor was thinking its about time for the bite too shift i thought sent the bite been so good on the north that it may shift too there. Will next month be good too start a search for ole Mr crappie there.
ole mister crappie is always south. He never leaves. You just have to find him..If I get down there I'll let ya know
would you that would be good thank.
I fish most of the week around Wilborn, tons of fish but not a lot of size, did catch some nicer ones. On Tuesday, about 4:30 pm, a couple of guys picked me up off of the bank, one area we hit was throwing corks at standing stumps little better size than the brush I was fishing. Then we went to another area that was in about 10' of water and did some tight lining, caught some more really nice fish, and they were really thumping it!! Today with the cold front, fewer fish but saw some bigger ones! As in I saw Jerry catching fish! Did manage a few but XXL was doing good!
I have been fishing around point 2 and just past it slabdaddy, the fish are there. Go get em..
Thats what i want too here birdy. You no ole slab daddy love to give them a try.
Birdy my luck has been right across from 2 you ever fish there.
