Dose of reality
We've been fishing the north end of shelby alot and doing very well. Sunday we decided, because of time restrictions, to hit lake Decatur for a few hours since we both live about a mile from the ramp. Long story short--4 hours, 2 guys, 1 keeper and 1 shorty. I never got bit..At least it was a nice daay to be out

Out of curiosity, where in the lake were you fishing, what was the water temp and what were you using? I live in decatur and am thinking about getting on there next week sometime...

Surface temps were 42-44 everywhere we went. Lake has come up to about a foot above winter pool, water color is ,in my opinion, perfect. We fished deep and shallow, jigs and tubes..There is no apperant reason for them not to be biting..Good luck

I was there friday, caught one nice gill and nothing else. Sure was nice out though
