Went yesterday (Saturday) and caught 15 during a few hours before the rain came. They would not bite minnows (only caught one) but would hit jigs. Only about 7 were keepers. Anyone else having luck catching some slabs yet on gville?

Still a little less than 50% on keepers vs throwbacks where I fish on the Big G ,with a lot of the smaller ones being white crappie !! still.Saturday morn went 9 for 18 with size between 10 to 14 in.Sat afternoon in a down pour I went 11 for 23 .The morning fish were caught on both a Bobby G blue thunder and a smoke glitter attached to a gold headed jig, the afternoon fish were all caught on a Bobby G green licorice color first time used again with a gold 1/16th jig head.
Sounds like they're still not in as much as one would think with this warm weather.
Mill creek (north of the causeway) was good, but turned off .....the campground at Goose Pond has not gotten good yet......a few being caught at S. Sauty bridge and some of the hiway 79 bridges, but those have slowed down too - it's close, real close......one day they are deep, the next they are in 4 ft. or less. If this cold snap isn't too bad, mid month ought to be about perfect! I have yet to try Town Creek or Brown Creek - I'm mostly on the N. Side of the lake ....any news on the S. side?
Brown's creek is covered up with cars when driving by. Have not tried it myself, but with that many cars, there's usually something going on there.
