Pics from yesterday

Went to a favorite oxbow yesterday for some hot action. J.W. (Arkansasbowhunter) was already catching them when I arrived and left shortly after catching his limit to take care of errands. I stayed on for the duration and kept 28 fish in the boat the last 6 hours I fished in order to keep fishing and culling. I fished till dark and wound up with a limit of really good quality fish. I must have thrown back at least 75 for the 30 I left with. I couldn't handle my normal 8 rod setup and had to cut it down to 6 rods but still caught lots of doubles and triples. David (Blue Thunder) had gotten called in to work but finally arrived about 4:30 and kept a limit before dark. I caught most of the larger fish in 3.5 to 6 feet of water running 1/8 oz roadrunners 12 inches deep. They were hitting them hard and fast and I ran 1.0 mph in open water except in the lilly pad stems in the shallows where I kept it at .2 to .3 mph. Was a full day of fishing and lots of fun.
