But a good time, rainbow trout, went crappie fishin afterwards, only 1, but the Lowe needed to run, and it ran!
They're floating around in the fryer now. Other pic is a 5 inch bass worm and 3/0 hook that was in one of their stomachs.

looks like some pretty good eating, and some fun catching too. I use to like to trout fish, got a good supply of them 3 miles south of the house, some pretty good size rainbows ... catch one once inawhile but always toss back, not tag for them.... fun to catch.. congrats on y'all day
Looks like a fun day! That seems really odd to me a trout would have the big old bass worm in it .. very strange.
I always grill trout and have never fried them. Do you fry yours just like you do your crappie?
wow, that's crazy! Congrats on a nice catch
Tried em every way but fried is my favorite. We don't have trout down in the bootheel, the MDC stocks this little lake in Jackson MO, just down the road from the folks house, after feb 1 you can use any bait and keep 4 a day, I assume they're starving until then which is why that'n ate a big plastic worm, I buy my stamp and catch my 4 every year and fry em up, took a few buddy's that'd never seen a live rainbow except for a trout tank, they had a blast, now I'm retoolin' the ole Lowe!
