where to fish
i was wondering, i am going to goose pond to stay at the cabins from march 25 26 27 and 28 this will be my frist time to fish here where can i go to catch fish their thats not to far from the boAT rramp i have heard that they will be near or on the banks at that time please help i live on neely henry and my home got destroyed in the april torandos hell i lost everything home over 90 trees boat piers 5 out building so this will be my frist time out on the water sence than can i get some info on where and how to catch fish up their think you the bassboat1752 of neely henry

The dock and causeway right there at Goose Pond can be good. Especially at night.

On the causway between the golf course and the marina - there is one small bridge . Fish on the marina side (towards the big boat docks - ACROSS the smalll bridge from the golf course - be there 1/2 hour before the lights on the causeway come on (5:45 PM or so) and if they are biting, you'll have some withing 30 minutes of the lights coming on...if not - go further towards the boat launch and fish off the docks.....right at sun UP is best there. At that time of year, if you're fishing from the bank, any of the bridges on 79 between Goose Pond and Guntersville do fairly well at night. Lighted bobbers and minnows seem to work best. If its a fairly nice night (not raining!) you won't be alone!. Good luck!
