Went to academy and bought some cheap bank fishing rod holders and fabbed up some aluminum brackets. I think they turned out pretty good, especially for $12 a pair! Gonna try out spider rigging for the first time tomorrow. Any pointers? We are headed to White Oak on the AR river. Attachment 80499
looks pretty nice. definitley for $12, I was thinking about getting set up for spider rigging too.
Go slow and then slow down some more. No more than .3 mph. Start your rigs at different depths and let the fish tell ya where they are. Good luck!!
Hey hani you took the words outa my mouth. Once more thing I might add to that is watch your fish finder and let it tell you where to fish, how deep, ect.Quote:

Jimp, noticed that to but I really like all the storage cabinets he has for baits and tackle plus a really neat heater setup for those cooler daysRofl and really net rod holder toThumbs Up try to adjust your rod tips where they are all the same distance from the water, helps tell at a glance if getting a bite. I like mine 6 to 12 in off water. That will depend some on how calm water is if bouncing any might have to raise some. Good luck.Quote:

Put jig on rod, put rod in holder. Let out line for deep fish. Reel up line if fish are shallow. Go slow. If no fish, speed up. Holders will be fine. Now, go catch fish and put up some "reel" good pics that will make the rest of us drool and ask how and where you caught them. Also, to make us laugh, put up video of the first bad hang up on a windy day.

I've got to rig up something myself when it comes to rod holders. The pics on here look good though, might have to steal an idea from you guys.
