Lodging For The Crappie.com Get Together

I have had several people ask me about the local lodgeing. The Lodge Resort is next to the camp grounds. They are kinda pricey but I'm gonna go and talk to them tomorrow to see if I can a special rate for Crappie.com members. Also there are several vacation rentals that are on the water. A local real estate broker handles the vacation rentals and I think you can get them for around $130 per night. I will be posting the rates for the lodge, vacation rentals, and local motels that are in Cordele. Will have this info by tomorrow late afternoon.

I went out to the Lodge at Lake Blackshear and was able to work out a deal for lodgeing for the Crappie.com get together. The regular room rates are $139.00 per night but "Mr. Bob" the manger, was nice enough to give the Crappie.com members a great discount. He said anyone that calls to reserve a room to make sure they tell the clerk it is for the Crappie.com event and they will get the reduced rate of $79.00 per night. In my opinion thats a great rate cause its only a little higher than the rooms in Cordele and you will be right on the water. So please give consideration to staying with these wonderful people.

Looks like that solves the camping question. When I asked her about camping, well, I cant say just what she told me :yikes But she likes the idea of staying at the Lodge and not having to do any driving...Great Job, Rusty!!!!
