Learned a tough lesson
Took the steering hyd. cylinder off the tractor to get repaird. guy est. 120.00, took twice as long to fix as they said. final bill was twice as much maby a bit more,,,, I was ticked... got over it.... then a little bit ago I checked on a new one from the place I got the tractor,,,, new price was 19 dollars cheaper than the repair.... what a lesson..... but got it put back on and it works like a new tractor.... so all is well, guess next time I will check first, and not assume it is cheaper to repair,as to buy new.... oh well the trolling motor works while sitting in the shop, and Miss Sharon is fixing double dipped beer batterd fried chicken and mashed taters for supper..... first time I have had taters in two weeks...can wait but it is hard.... mmmmmfried chicken

sounds good beagle! All I can say about the tractor is try to remember the mistake you made so it doesn't happen again. Hope the TM works when you go fishin!

why is it that we hafta learn the hard way.

I always rebuild my own. Think it cost $12 last time and only takes about a 1/2 hour. Sorry you got robbed!

It's tough when labor costs are so high that things can be replaced cheaper than repairing 'em but that's the way this world is now. Like you said though...atleast all is well and things are working properly again. Now, where's that chicken!!Thumbs Up

We are a throw a way society now because things are usually cheaper to buy new than fix. Now drown your sorrows in that fried chicken and mashed potatoes.
