well i've got some new jig molds, 1/32th 1/16th oz and some sickle hooks in size #1, 2, and 4's.
also new Lee pro 4-20 pot ( last one got loaned out and never returned )
my question is on these new molds they wont fit a #1 or 2 hook in them because the eye slot in the molds is no cut to accept these longer bent hooks. is there a simple bit of mod work that can be done so they will accept them and not ruin the mold ?

On the sickle hooks this has been an on-going issue for a LONG LONG TIME!!!! This I know is going to be a PITA but you're gonna have to sit down and fit the hooks in the mold - some fit fine in one but not another. I just did it with a box of 1000 size 2's and before that #4's before I ran out.
You can with a dremel make the slot longer but be careful if you cut wrong you'll be trying to get lead off alot of eyelets.

i will sit down with a dremel tool and try to make the eyelet cavity alittle longer and see if this helps me out

I took my Dremel and bought a flat faced metel cutting bit from lows that was small enough to fit in the eye hole. Radishes out the eye hole to the side that gave just enough room for the hooks to fit. Still have to adjust a few hooks to make them work. Like Fatman said if you go anywhere else be careful tried to open up shank and messed up one slot.
The Do-It double barb jig molds in 1/32 & 1/16 accept #4 & #2 sickle hooks with no problem. I don't know about the #1 hooks.

Just a thought for you and this is from the guys over at Tackle Underground - you can use JB weld - High Heat to fix that slot. Make sure you have a hook ready when you do it.
First question before I go on - did you elongate the eyelet in both sides of the mold for that slot???
If you did, put the JB weld on both sides of the mold for that slot where it's messed up and put the hook in and close the mold then reopen. Clean off any excess so that it's flush and take the hook out. Let it fully harden!!! up and then try and pour that slot with a hook in. You might have to trim a tiny bit based on how it poured but it should fix it.
