I have seen this discussed but I was wondering if anyone had found a solution to this problem. I have a 788ci di and a Terrova. Dang depth finder is almost useless when going at slow speeds.

Here is info to start...

Interference is a beast to track down somtimes...
DF needs to be on a different battery from the TM...
DF needs dedicated power wires (with 3amp inline fuse) all the way to the battery (not to the fuse panel)...
DF power wires should be kept away from TM power wires...
Turn up "noise filters" in DF settings....
Call HB for recommendations....1-800-633-1468
Are you using the US2...?
Is interference on 2d and DI...??
Post back with things you have tried...
Rickie
DF is running off the cranking battery. It is also connected directly to the battery and not a fuse panel. I've talked to a couple of folks who have the same setup with the same problems. They tried moving their power wires with no luck. I've been using the us2. I had a 55lb powerdrive before this 80lb Terrova with no us2 and had the same problems. Sold the powerdrive to a buddy with a cheap DF and he has none of the issues. I will see about adjusting the settings. Really like the DF but we slow troll a lot and man it is frustrating. Thanks for the input and I will keep at it till I get it fixed one way or the other.
Thanks rickie, I will give them a call tomorrow.
