SOME of the fish are still there. With as much that has been snagged the last month, there might only be 2 limits left on the top side of the dam. I bet most of those 11.5 inchers I threw back last year in the lake have been snagged and cleaned in the spillway.
They snag em every year, have been for 30 years that I know of. Once they on that side of the dam it dont matter anyways
I have to agree with you Rees, but that don't mean I like it. I have done my fair share of snagging, and plan on trying it out on Saturday nite. Those fish that are snagged, or not snagged for that matter, ain't got a snowballs chance at getting back in the lake. Might as well get 'em before they go downstream to oblivion.
Just think how many 3 pounders would be in the lake if they could flood control the lake and keep the fish in the lake.
That lake would be overstocked in two years, it is one heck of a hacthery (sp).
They sure are good coming out of that cold water too.
