Skip that crawfish is looking good to.
Killed a few cottontails last week, and when we got home and skint em, I had to try it as well. Not nice as the one you tied, but is was fun. Tougher than maribou though.
yea me and my dad killed a few back when it first got cold for a few days but i didnt get any fur off of them cause i didnt know how 2 cut it off and where 2 cut it off
It's a lot easier to buy the stuff and not all that safe to cut them strips your self with a home made cutter. They tan the whole hide, then after it's tanned they cut strips from end to end for the Zonkers and others they cut from side to side to make crosscut strips. In both cases you leave the had on the hide to tie them too. You can take the hair off and use it like you did, but there are a lot of things you can do like that. It would help if you guys read up on materials a little to know how to use them and what they can be used for.
