Hello all. Im powder painting some teardrop ice jigs & getting to much paint on the jig when dipping & then when curing the paint drips over & covers up the hook eye. Im looking for some ideas to cover the hook point so i can dip fast

you need a fluid bed, then you will get a thin layer of paint that will not drip when curing
Dont get the jig so hot, the hotter it is the more powder will stick to it. Just a second of heat on each side is all that is needed.
Is there a specific color giving you problems? Some run more than others and some 10X more than others.
The easiest cure for cures is a rack that holds your jigs up-right.
Thanks guys for the tips problem solved.. Those tiny ice jigs were giving me fits, In trying not to paint the hook point on those tiny #12 hooks i was dippping to slow, turns out a little piece of alum foil covers up the hook & i can dip just the same speed as my 1/16 ball heads. I did go ahead and make a fluid bed also & all i can say is wow should of made that a long time ago!
