9 years ago today my dad passed away. He love to fish, especially bream fishing that was his favorite. Although if I would have had more time I might could have converted him to crappie fishing. He taught me alot about fishing and life and I have tried to pass that on to my son. Thanks pop

Sorry for your loss Cockrum. I started to post something similar back on the 12/21 about my Dad....but with it only having been a year.....I just didn't want to. Sucks is about the kindest word I can describe it with. Miss him bad. Like you though, I've got a lot of good memories and I owe him almost all of my outdoors heritage and I'm passing all of it I can to the Bes. More than hunting and fishing, I owe him for my.....well....let's just call it "my sense of humor". If ya'll think I'm a smart arse.....you should of met Ustabe.
Anyway...no time to be melancholy....there's smart allecky comments that need posting and flasher knobs that need huntin'.
