I am curious about UV Blast - either the liquid or the powder coat. Does anyone here use it? What kind of results have you had with it?
Thanks,
Pete

Yes I use it some, but people don't know enough to ask for it a lot yet! The liquid has a place, but for jig heads its a lot easier and better to use the powder at the same time you paint.
The liquid is hard to get an even coat, but you can put it on hard baits you buy, like crank baits.
Lots of guys have been using it since it came out.
Mixed reviews. Haven't seen it as an edge.
I too have wondered about the UV powder coat as well...what are the strengths of using it? Does it really change the look that much? Not a skeptic--just not informed...yet!
Does not change looks to you, but does to fish!
Gotcha - I currently use powder paint heated over alcohol lamp...How do I apply the UV powder blast? I assume by reheating after putting color on then dipping in UV powder then I bake....so it's like two coats?????
ive used both cant tell a difference i catch just as many fish with it or without it
Just right after you dip the color you dip in it and let cool, then cure!
I have used uv blast to help thin out powder paint.......works pretty good.
