Thought I would try it again before the rain set in. Caught 14 bass...6 keepers...and a crappie! :yikes
Bass were 14 to just over 16...crappie was 12 1/2 ... I think. All put up a great fight.
Great day on the water! Warm, but not hot...few boats...light breeze once in a while...water like glass most of the time. Saw 7 or 8 baby gators about 3 ft long.

Days like that are few and far between for me. If the size were lowered to 13" or even 13 1/2" I would have been culling for a limit. Never caught a limit of bass here...or a limit of anything in the bayou, come to think of it.Quote:
