It was more of a pain than a benefit Skip to me. I would rather use the flashabou when hand tying a lure or glitter in a soft plastic bait.
What I have been doing is use 2 fluid beds and I mix my heat resistant glitter in some clear powder paint and have what ever color I want in one bed and the paint in the other. Right after I dip in the paint I go right into the glitter coat and then cure at the same time. Works great. I have a few guys that love the stuff or I probably wouldn't have started doing this, but they buy a lot of jigs. Also the best part is the glitter doesn't stick pit at all like some I have seen. I do find it hard to really show it well in a picture though.
However here are a couple pics and it's very hard to capture the effect on a pic. The first is a Blue head with Chartreuse Glitter and next is heads with Holographic Silver. So tell me what you think?

I like the finer glitters also.
Been using silver gold and purple glitter nail polish . The post I made " Today's Jigs " shows a few with glitter .
I like the small glitter also.
Glitter mixed with a dab of colored paint in a clear base works much better for me.

I am thinking my glitter is finer than you may think. For size ref. that's a #6 sickle. It is the glitter Pro-Tec sells. It is pretty small stuff.
Hard to post with this phone, LoL!
