We also have a growing Black Bear Population here in Kentucky.
East Kentucky now has a small wild population of Black Bear. However, I imagine that within the next 5 to 10 years, parts of central, south central, and perhaps even parts of west Kentucky, may have a small Bear population.
The Bear numbers will probably move west as the bear population grows. So perhaps one day the Kentucky Lake, and LBL area will have a few Bear roaming around. :D
LBL could probably support a small wild Black Bear population.
