HomeMade Jig Box
This has prob bin done before but just in case it has not.
Needed a fly box for bulk storage. could not rely find what i wanted and what i did find cost more than i was willing to spend. So my solution i made one out of a cheap pencil box with packing foam glued in. Attachment 76147Attachment 76148 works great and will store a bunch of jigs.

It does look great, and that may be just what I was looking for to store my backup ice jigs. If one tries to store volume in a Rose Creek or Bug Luggage, one can go broke just buying the boxes!
For fishing open water or ice, I carry my backup jig heads in Plano 3582s with the foam torn out and replaced by Bug Luggage inserts, which you can get directly from them by writing them for it and then cut down to size. (At least you used to be able to). Bug Luggage clips are very nearly as good as Rose Creek and both are far better than any foam, and the 3582s fit into a shirt pocket, real handy.

Bug Luggage inserts I will look into them slab thanks for the heads up!

I use the Bug Luggage inserts for my fishing jig boxes, the ones I take to the water. For the storage box I don't think you can beat the foam and it doesn't need to hold jigs against bouncing around like the working boxes do. Nearly all of my jigs are very small and this combination should work for me like a charm, and you can't beat the price for the storage capacity.

Slab i looked those boxes up those things are nice! I am going to do what you done and replace my Cary box foam with theirs. that regular foam is not worth a hoot in boxes to Cary.
