I'll assume you are targeting crappies and sunnies, maybe perch. Try the 1" minnows and the fish fry. I've used every form of the Gulp Alive made and these are the only two that I think are worth a rip and are in fact the only two styles I have anymore. Even the 1" leeches are not good.
Ive had good luck with the yellow ones that look like a bee moth.
ctom...done well on fish fry in chart.,red..1 in minnows, best for me was the cricket in green pumpkin, chart...
jepik....
Another product to try if you can find it is the Mister Twister 1 inch micro minnow. They came as an Exude product a few years ago when I was on staff with the company but are now just a Mister twister product. These are a different plastics formula and will take on scent quite well. I put a few of the MT stuff in a jar of the Gulp juice for a couple days before I used them and they were something else. The MT minnow has its own scent but I think the Gulp does a better job on fooling fish.
ctom..I will sure give them a try..thanks
I don't use minnows much any more, but I have taken a small [1/4"] cotton pom-pom ball [found at Hobby Lobby or Michael's] and threaded it onto the line using a needle before tying on the jig. Slip it back down to the knot and dip it into the Gulp juice, then hang your minnow....double whammy doing it this way. This works well with un-scented, larger plastics too. And don't be afraid to dip a feathered jig in the juice. Lots of ways to get that all important scent onto and staying on those jigs.
CTom..I will try them all..all we need is some ice..thanks
