Got out on the lake about 8:30 or 9:00 in the hot ditch water temp 62 caught a coulpe in 1 1/2 fow. when down too the end of ditch on the east end got one in 4 fow. then came across ole Doug D. we troll and jig got a few more they are not in any one place so you got too hunt for them mouth of cove any brush and on the flat. Glad to put a face to a name Sam. The fishing was ok yesterday only had 1 throwback and the rest were nice fish. The warm weather had me messed up got to the lake and I had forgotten my jacket. Fished from 11:30 to 3:30 and there were a couple of light sprinkels but got off right before the rain set in. Having to really be moving to get numbers at least for me. Lost several fish at the surface the lighter bite was on minnows but the bigger fish were hitting jigs buried in cover.
