Good morning ...I've been trying to paint a very silvery (like a shiny dime) jig head. Have tried chrome and silver paint. The chrome looks great until I touch it and I lose the shine ???? Have tried powder paint but doesn't have that high shine to it. I must be missing a step in the process. Any Ideas would be appr.. These heads are 1/32 to 1/16 oz. size for gills and crappies. Thanks a head of time. STEVE
You have to buy them like that as the ones that are plated.
CrappyHappy has a Chrome PP that is as good as Ive seen,Im sure he'll chime in..
I have some chrome powder from Columbia Coatings and the shine is not bad.....but like Skip said you can't beat the Nickle Plated heads for shine!

try crazy angler for plating that's where I got my last goldplated jig heads .
