Just a guess....
That is correct. At one time the CHO units were packaed with only the unit (Control Head) only. Now they are packed with everything but the transducer and we kept the same designation. Guess we could have used EBTT (Everything But The Transducer)!
Unless you are going to have to use a true Thru-Hull transducer; this would not be a good buy as the standard XHS-9-HDSi-180-T will cost you well over $100.
