I am a life long shooter, and like to think I have put together a lot of knowledge about guns and shooting. I have a large collection of books and manuals, and reload for rifle, pistol and shotgun. I also cast bullets for all the handguns I shoot. If I can be of service to any of the board members, please don't hesitate to drop a line.

Hello Chuck,,I do some shooting, primarly handguns anymore, but have been into rifles in the past..Like you, I have been hgandloading since the early 60s..Pretty well set up to load ammo. What part of the great state of Arkansas you from?
Hi Chuck. I've been reloading pistol/rifle for the past 30 years and even have one room at my house which is set up entirely for reloading. I used to like reloading and shooting pistols like the mod 29 44 mag, Colt trooper 357 mag, TC Contender/.30 Herrett, ect. but gave up the pistols when I began having children. I no longer own a pistol and have resisted the urge to get back into them all these years. Now I reload and shoot rifle only and like to punch holes in paper with my 7mm STD Sendero w/Nightforce 5.5x22x56 and my Bushmaster Predator w/Valdada 2x12x36. They group in the .2 to .5 inch range at 100 depending on bullets and loads. I also load a number of other calibers but these are my favorites at the moment and about all I have time for. It's a great hobby and reloading is lots of fun when the weather is too bad to do anything outside. My 5 yr-old grandson, Atticus, has had a BB gun since he was 3 and can nail a pie plate everytime at 60 ft with open sights. He is also good with the Bushmaster at the range. He would have killed his first deer this year during the youth hunt if they hadn't changed the age to 6 yrs or older. He won't be 6 until Dec 9. He will have to wait till next year!

Yep, another avid shooter here. I reload for handgun and rifle and like to shoot some long range when I get a chance. I'm in the process of moving all my reloading gear into another room and about to build a new reloading bench. Also shoot a little 22 benchrest, IR 50/50 and RBA when I get a chance.
That's a nice looking room you got there Xring. I hope to have all my stuff set back up in the near future if I can tear myself away from hunting and fishing long enough to get it done.

I don't shoot as much as I once did,,was running several thousand rounds a year through various pistols, as many as 15,000 a year...lol I dearly love to shoot a fine 1911 in .45 ACP....but love my colt delta goldcup too in 10 MM....I probably shot more .357s than any other caliber and can vouch for S&W 686's, I have one with a excess of 20,000 full bore .357s through it, it will still one hole them at 25 yards.
I'm not a shooter, but I think I have a revolver that might possible be a great shooter. It's a 1952 Smith & Wesson model 27, 357, 5 inch barrel, with orginial wood grips. I had a gunsmith look at it and he said that the gun is 95% out of a 100, and that was because it has a line around the cylinder were it's shot before.
Other than that the blueing is prefect no rub marks. I've had it for years and never fired it, but would love to shoot it someday, but don't want to because of value loss.
I was told by a gun collector it could possible sale for around $1700 dollars. I have it in a presentation case, it's a awesome looking gun.
