sound like my weakin on blacksher . but was longlinning and when i started dropshots started catching fish . then late afternoon sunday started jigs pitching and slow rolling back to boat cought several large ones just befor dark around the RR bridge.
I was at Oconee Monday Afternoon and the water temp was 63 ..fish at 6-8 over 14 ft brushy bottom....good numbers, but mostly small...only a few that went a pound. Seems like they're still holding a little deeper at sinclair.....Caught good sized a few weeks ago out of brushtops in 22 ft....suspended fish really didn't want to play!
Good reports fisheye. Congrats on the catch.Thumbs Up Is drop shotting the same as tight lining?
Hope to see some Sinclair slabs this weekend. Looks like rain Sunday. May go Saturday to see whats going on up there. Hot days this week and cold front on the way. They are sure to be scattered and tough, but that is how it ALWAYS is for me. Thanks for the report. Hope I can add something good after this weekend.
Can someone explain "drop shot" method? Thanks
yep that is how i do it Thumbs Up you can use jigs and add a minnow or leave the grub off and just add a minnow Thumbs Up
WE CAUGHT SOME REALLY GOOD FISH AT sINCLAIR tUESDAY. We were in 20 FOW fishing 10 foot deep with minnows over a brush pile.
