PB Blaster work wonders so this article definately has my attention if something works better for less money...
Kano is the most expensive but it's some good stuff.

Now I'm going to get a quart of ATf and ACETONE and see how that works in my spray bottles.
Talked to a chemical engineer today at work about the ATF/ACETONE formula. He recommended a better option, actually several other options. Unfortunately I left my notes at work. Plus he went into a whole thing about chemical bonds, interactions, etc, etc, etc. Somewhere along the lines my eyes glazed over, rolled back in my head, and I heard myself ask question like I was following along. 15 minutes later the glaze wsa over and so was the lecture, um explaination.
Somewhere in there the ATF works because it absorbs and dilutes the water trapped in the threads, at the same time lubricating the threads. The ACETONE only acts as a thinner help penetrate deeper. You could use Benzene, although its know carcinogen. Tolene is an acceptable substitute, or Xylene. The better solution was Phosphoric Acid, and I dont remember the other chemicals, hence my notes comment above.
What most don't know is that threads have tolerances, and those tolerances have standards.

Wikipedia does a good job of dumbing it down into laymans terms. lol
Suffice to say, tolerances can be tight on new bolts/nuts, add in corrosion and things get complicated. lol
