Norman nightstalk

Me Jeremy and Chris teamed up on the very first fishing outing on Jeremys new boat......man that thing is sweet. we were fishing for stripers but caught everything else but stripers. it was catfish galore.......caught a mix bag of blues and channels. dont remember the final count but we had a 60 qt cooler packed to the top with cats ranging from 1-6ish pounds. one spotted bass and about 6 perch were thrown in there as well for good measures. i did catch the only 3 stripers last night......all 3 put together still didnt measure over 20 inches....lol. before it got dark we had a school of striper blow up right next to the boat......there were some really nice fish in there......then some Jack @$$ came in there all out and that was the end of that. all in all a very pleasent night out on norman....we were finally able to but some blood on the deck of the new boat....but from the wrong species :D

They just dont like it outside that gate huh?I know we fished there atleast 5 or 6 times last year with nare a striper caught.

E its getting late in the year now for em to be there period......the otehr night the water temp there read 80 degrees!!!!!! its warming up fast, and the hot weather aint helping.....im thinking that i have 1 more week left to catch a few stripers then they are gonna be gone for a while.

the mess of cats/perch from the other night.....the blue there on the bottom is about a 6 lber.
