Limit's 13-14 & 15 In A Row/11-7-8-9-11/Conway/Secret's from The Ole Pro
The last three days were days of fishing Pre and Post Fronts and High Winds... I saw Little difference in the bite all three days. The crappie continue to relate to heavy bank cover, Pads, Docks, and Gator Grass. There was no boats or fisherman to deal with on all three days. Guess it being the middle of the week and the fronts kept allot of people inside. On my first evening of fishing I got to the lake around 3-PM. It was late to start fishing but I did manage 10 keepers before dark. I decided to stick it out to see what the fish would do After Dark. It was neat looking up at a full moon and knowing I was in a location that held some good fish. My Plan of attack was a Midsouth Glow Tube in the Pic. and a Lucky Strike Chart/red Eye Jig head. I get asked all the time what's my FAV Jig Head? Well there it is and a Picture of the Pack. I like a 1/32 for shallow water and a 1/8 for deeper lakes. I would take my Flash light and Charge that Glow tube up every now and then and it looked like a neon sign. LOL They absolutely loved it. It was so much fun dipping in the bank cover after dark and feeling those hard thumps that would send an electric charge up ur arm. I also have been using the Spike it garlic flavored dye and just dipping the tail in the dye. Give's my lure a great scent and a nice teaser on the tip of my Jigs or stingers. I like the Chart and Hot pink dyes best. I have seen times where it has made the Difference in the bite. Get a Jar and try it. Also try the Mid South Glow Tube, the next time you wanna get nasty on those slabs after dark. I promise you they have been field tested and are Crappie Pro approved. Good luck to all you deer hunters out there this weekend and please be safe. God Bless and Tight Lines. CP
