I'm in the market for one. Wondering what yall got. My folks have a min pin mix that is one of the best and smartest dogs they've ever owned, so I'm leaning that way. I mean, whens the last time you've seen a dog that enjoys letting 3 year olds push it around in a stroller?

Wouldn't take anything for our Lab, wont ever be without one again. If you dove hunt swome its a big plus too, she loves to retreve. They shed tho so if you got carpet flooring that part wouldnt be good.
We have 2 Shih-Tzu's and love them and they DO NOT shed!!!
I will second the idea of a Lab. I had mine for 14 yrs before I had to have her put down this past spring. She was the best dog I have ever had. They are very loyal and great with kids.
Labs are great, but too big and shed too much for inside. I will own one when we get a bigger yard
I would suggest a fiest/rat terrier mix like I got. He is small and smart as they come. He was easy to house break. He is good with the kids, and a good fishing dog. He can do all the tricks, lay down, play dead, turn around, roll over, speak, shake hands, blah blah blah, I even taught him how to shut the house door so I can let him out and leave it cracked and he will come in when he is ready. He will not shut it on his own, but if I tell him to he will. He is pretty aggressive toward other dogs though and that might not be good in a subdivision. And NEVER EVER stick your hand in my truck when he is in there, you may draw back a nub. But if you let him out, he is just as friendly as ever.
I'm with Spiderwoman, I have a Shih-Tzu and a Peek-a-poo, they are both great but the Peek sheds.
I have a jack russell / rat terrier mix. She's a great dog, loves people and only weighs 8 lbs. She's getting kinda old and can't see but still knows her way around the house. I have had a couple labs too and they are good dogs. I will probably get another Lab when the time comes.
No pics of your babies!? Shame on you
