New vise
I've never seen this one before. It's called a J vise and looks good to me. I didn't dig real deep but couldn't find out much about it, and no mention of the price. Anyone know anything about it? I saw it on the flytyingforum.com site that I get some ideas from.

Try www.Jvise.com. Nice looking tool with lots of accessability.

Hmmmm, I noticed the company advertises it as "the ultimate vice". I am sure many wives of the guys on here would agree:)

After reading some of the reviews, it seems that the vise is well received by the traveling fly guys. Well built to over built, well thought out and lots of accessories. I believe that it falls in a price range a bit above most of our taste, but that would depend on the needed versatility of the tool. The jaws hold from 2/0 to the 20's, way smaller than we ever use chasing Crappie. The larger range of sizes I use tying bucktails so it fits the bill for those. Nicely done and worth a look if for nothing else than to stir the gray matter. These are all hand made to order in South Africa, but the wait time wouldn't be an issue. I give it a thumbs upThumbs Up, but I'm sad that I'll probably never get a chance to handle one.
