Question?
Can someone tell me the best crappie lake closest to Hardy, Ar. I'm not asking
for your favorite honey holes, just a good crappie lake.
Everything around here is those nasty tasting trout, that these state game folks spend so much money on raisen them foul tasting things...I don't get it.

Agree on trout not tasting too good. Walleye is pretty good heard they have a bunch in the spring river. Never been crappie fishing in that area, but I do enjoy fishing the spring river never know what you are going to catch. Bull shoals is good crappie fishing just bout an hour down the road.

Charles may be good for some small ones. They taste almost as good as the big ones and don't wear you out trying to reel them in. There are probably some good Black River fishing holes. Shirey bay always looks good, but I never hear any good reports from there.
