good catch. I know what you mean about the light bite. I went to Nolin yesterday, casting jigs and skunked on crappie !!!
They would just nose the lure and never take hold.

Yes. In fact, I have switched the line to braid on my spinning reels that I use for whitebass because the roostertails made the mono line twist bad. With the braid there is no memory so no line twist. Castability is just fine. I use braid for bluegill fishing too.
