Hi all, for a present I got a Minn Kota V2 with I-Pilot already installed.
The remote works great... Is it possible for me to also purchase the wireless foot pedal and use it along with my new motor that has I-Pilot installed ??? Thanks for the info...
Dang, just found earlier posts that say I cant use the footpedal with I-Pilot on a V2....
Look up "CanePole" he'll help you with your foot pedal problem best thing I ever did!
downeast I've had my PD w/I-pilot now for bout2 months, been out bout 12 times with it and do not miss the foot pedal at all. Fished with a foot pedal for decades and thought it'd be an ordeal without it but I'm finding with the autopilot, track recorder, and anchor lock I'm much better in every aspect of fishing craps than ever before. I think once you get used to it and your fingers "learn" the keys you'll forget about the foot pedal. I've proposed marriage to mineRofl
