What style of fishing are you planning, Jigging, crankin, long lineing or spider rigging?
i am headed that way tomorrow night that way i will be there to fish friday, i will single pole and spidder rig friday and what seems the best thats way i plan on fishing saturday. i have never fished there so i am on a mission !!!!!!! hope to see all of you there.
Been jiggin and catching a few suspended near cover dragg'n a jig. I don't do the spiderrigg'n thing anymore. There are fish being caught jiggin, spiderriggin, long line trolling and minner dunkin , so take your choice. Be prepared to do alot of culling as Nimrod Lake is full of short Crappie. Not unusual to catch 60 to 100 to cull out a limit of 20. For those who use minnows the Bait and More is on highway 60 at the entrance to Carter Cove.
Hey Meat - If I dont see you on the ramp, I will call your cell if I can get a signal. I will start off spider rig jigs over the corp cover. If I can set a pattern I will for sure call. Sure could use 50 jigs. The list I am bringing has 60 on it.
i have you a bag of " mississippi queen " with me. whale and i are going up tonight we are staying in russellville, we will be at the lake 7-730am friday morning will be in my boat give me a call.
As of now I plan on being there Friday morning. I will be pulling cranks in my Yankee boat so if you see me give me a shout.
I'll be pushing cranks and spider rigging jigs on Sat. and Sunday
mdperson - I will want to talk to you about pushing cranks.
Looks like me and the wife are gonna try to come down Friday. Gotta leave at least by mid-morning saturday. We'll be in 542 camo wareagle chunking dennimite.
