Slab sent some free baits for those that did'nt get a shirt. I just got an pm with an offer to build a custom pole for the biggest Crappie caught that morning. Chardonsdad and his wife are looking for someone to fish with. Sounds like this thing is taking off. Will post more on the pole if the deal is for shure. Lets plan on weigh'n the big fish at 1.00 pm if the deal works out.Hands Clapping

I'm on board, go ahead and post it so everyone knows. Biggest crappie caught on saturday gets a custom rod from me (Pemberton Rods). I was thinking of doing either a 8'6" or 9'6" rod. What do you think? Just want to get a little imput from you on what makes a good crappie rod in your eyes?

thats nice but i think it needs to be at least a 11ft !!!!
i will also have some jigs for every one to try. we have been working on a" nimrod special" jig we have made 5 different ones . the one that catch the most fish on one of the nimrod special meatgetter jigs will win 50 meatgetter jigs of there choice.
I think I have a lead on a a few longer blanks. I'll figure something out. I'll get everything ordered tonight or tomorrow and get to work. NIMROD, just let me know who wins and get all their info and when the rod is built I'll make sure its delivered to thier door. Hope everyone has a great time and catch a mess of crappie.
I am working on some jigs also, should have a 2 pack for about 25 people.
I have an 11', 2 piece jig blank and materials on the way. Cant wait to see the fish that wins the rod

11" is good. I have a rule. All poles that go in my boat must be 10' and longer
Hey Meat I will hold out on placing my order with you. I feel lucky. I will still bring my list. I have 2 Mississippi Queens left and that aint a good thing. I will be fishing Fri and Sat. For every body fishing Sat maybe some would like to have a 5-10$ entry with 1$ big fish or something.
