Finally Back fishing Greenwood Report 9/4/2011
Well I woke up kinda late and my parents took my uncle and cousin fishing at Greenwood. By the time I got there at 10am they already have about 15 fish in the boat. Shellcracker and Catfish. Well I jumped in the boat with them and we were fishing just outside the buoys around the water intake. If you threw your line right up against the wall the fish would inhale it right away it seemed like. Four people in a bass boat is a little crowded so I fished straight down but no bites. As soon as I knifed my way in the other side and threw against the wall wham I had a nice 2-3 pound catfish. All in all we ended up with 20 fish total 17 shellcracker and 3 catfish. This whole week of fishing my dad, uncle and cousin caught about 30-45 shellcrackers(that they kept) and 5 catfish. they have the pictures on their phone so Im gonna try to see if I can get the pics from them to post on here. Oh yeah everyone be safe out there because by the time 1230 rolled around the pleasure boaters were out there and it was crazy.
