Have you checked the air pressure in you spare trailer tire lately?
Why is there something wrong with yours?
Nothing wrong except it only had 20lbs in it. Just a reminder to all.
I wonder not only how many people forget to check not just their spare trailer tire but also the one for their vehicle? A lot of those tires riding around under the back of these pick-ups are low.
20 lbs will get you to the next town. Don't you carry a plug in air compressor? Slime makes a real good 290 psi pump for about $24.00.
Sure 20 lbs. will get you somewhere....but its better to have the correct pressure. I do carry a 12 volt plug in air compressor with me and also tire plugs and the tools to put them in with. I also carry a complete trailer hub with bearings races and seals installed and packed with grease. I also carry two complete sets of wheel bearings, races , and seals, grease and tools to install them. I don't like having to leave my boat and trailer on the side of the road while I travel around in unfamiliar territory trying to find parts on a Sunday afternoon.
Great reminder Major
Just checked mine a couple of days age while I was repacking my bearings. Thanks for the reminder though.
See it now " "G"'s Tire and Rubber".
Fill them up with nitrogen and you won't need to check them as often.
