I have mine ready to go....I just need one of those base plates.

The brace looks good. I had one on the boat I sold but didnt put one on the boat I now have. I cant decide whether the bouncing of the shaft when towing, hitting boat waves under power, etc. is as much of a problem to the head of the unit as the jolts could be so I left it off on this boat. Time will tell I guess.:rolleyes:

Shouldn't be any "jolts", that's what the tie-down strap is for. Mine is closer to the bow. Maybe EZ will post a pic of his, it's co-located with the plate.

Not hard to tell where you been, EZ is the manfor sure!!!
