I will be in Millington this weekend for my 30 year class reunion. My father wants to go to Herb Parson on Sunday. I crappie fish only. I will try something different though for the old man to get the kinks out of his line. I am set up to push pull spider long line what ever it takes. I know its short notice but any info will help
That lakes not big enough to long line, and it probably will be waste of time to take your spider rig stuff. Take your catfish rods and have fun....don't waste your day on crappie out there. But if I was going to Millington(I grew up there), I would go to glenn springs rather than herb parsons.....nicer scenery and probably better fish.
Agree with csndgrss, Herb Parsons would not be my 1st choice for crappie. I live about 20 minutes from it and by-pass it all the time for better fishing elsewhere.
I would give glenn springs a try....let us know how it turns out
