Those look like Ky. Lake crappie. I have been making jigs with ultra light wire that Chuck Auten turned me onto and working on my maps. Ready ,set ,go! Nice fish and I like surprises too!!!!

Yeah they are KY lake crappie, went out this morning and put some more stuff out/scouted. Wound up catching 6 more keepers, lots of 9-9.5" whites biting too. Didn't have time for any pics.
