Rootbeer color opinion

Here is what I came up with, it has black flake and small red flake along with a highlight (pearl) color. I like to try and spice up my colors when I make them, Kinda make them my own and not the same as the others. For a rootbeer color the pearl lightened it up a good bit from regular rootbeer. Should I leave the pearl out of it or is it ok as is for you that use rootbeer colored grubs. I dont use it much myself on my lake.

I don't know if thats a rootbeer color or not.....but I do know it looks good and I like it and I think the fish will like it too.

Keith .... I think I'd call that "Sweet Tea w/Lime", rather than Root Beer. Rofl But, hey .... you ain't payin me to name your bait colors for you, so call it whatever you want ... LOL!! Regardless of what "color/flavor" you call that ... I have no doubt that it'll catch fish Thumbs Up

lol, dont have to call it rootbeer, thats just the name on the bottle before I put my spin on it. Does look closer to sweet tea.

There's times of the year that the rootbeer color gets hot for me. The grubs I use are a shade darker but I dont see any reason those wont work just s good. It's ashamed you dont make the 2" fat grub curly tails (like southern pro hot grubs) cause I'd be wanting some prices.;):)

To much competition out there on 2 inch grubs. Everyone in the world makes them. I can and do make some custom ones but way more than most are willing to spend. Even with an injection machine there are just so many out there now I gotta stick with custom stuff.
