G, I see where it ask for a sponsor on there. Do we have a sponsor? If not this permit may not be neccesary. WB needs to talk to Don Gober and see what he says, he's the lake manager at Grenada.
Thats what I think too rees....I think the permit is only required for big, sponsored, advertised tournaments with a big payout. I do not think fruit jars are required to have a permit.
No proceeds is the key. WB will get it straightened out.
If memory serves me rite the Thunder On Water tourney was sponsored by the chamber

Never would have had that happen at Enid!
Didnt have a problem yesterday.
Permitis NOT required unless your a club or organization with directors and bylaws.
Permits ARE required for a tournament of any shape, size or species. The permit is free and only lets the corp know what is going on. The big boy tournaments are the reason for the fish being returned alive back to the lake. This started 3 or 4 years ago at the CM State Championship. Normally they will not have more 2 tournaments on 1 day. It's no big deal.
All this garbage over a FREE permit? Glad the Ranger was as nice as he was!!!! I think it was because I gave him the pen to write that ticket. LMAO
I'd be happy to stop by and talk to Mr. Gober if yall would like me to, and relay the info to whoever needs it.
