Mid- November is usually a pretty reliable time it seems. IMHO
Will be there second week in November.
If you are talking about when to find them in the shallow cover, i usually catch them when the water temp is 68 to seventy degrees. It all depends on the weather and the lake drawdown as to how shallow they will be. Usually mid sept through october i fish for them shallow again depending on the weather.
