I am looking for some suggestions on what to use for cover in the shallows....When I state shallows...I mean around 5 to 6ft and shallower....We pretty much concrete wood slab or bamboo condos in water deeper than 6ft etc...

Wooden stake beds work real well. There are times of the year when you can really nail them. Except for extremely hot or cold, they usually hold a few fish. I like to have a couple of feet over them when water comes up in the spring. Small brushpiles, and PVC will bring in fish too.

Since you are already using bamboo for your deep water condos ... all you need is some concrete blocks !!

Hi Pappy,
I probably will go with the bamboo concrete block setup in the shallows....It covers a lot of area..May also try to drive some stakes in the shallows..
