They are Lowrance units with a few minor features removed. They've been discontinued, so service isn't available on most units, but they are good quality units.
The Eagle brand was a great value in the fishfinder / GPS market. Unfortunately, any models that were continuing to be sold (FishElite,FishEasy), will end completely for 2012 (From what I've been told) Lowrance will also be "cleaning up" their lower end inventory.

I have an Eagle Magna II that's been on several boats since 1995....
And an Eagle fish Elite 480 that's been working since 1998....
Both still work fine.....not much features...but very dependable...

I have 4 Eagle 480 and 1 Eagle Elite 480; I will put them up against any out there. I cad watch my bait with it a 1-32 ,also watch the fish come up and hit it. Can put pvc in water and count the cross bars also see the bucket coming up off the bottom. Other units will do the same if adjusted right. The key is adjusting them right. For me it has all the features I need.
He taught me a lot on the correct way to setup a DF.Thumbs Up We did in fact see the fish in brushpiles & see the fish coming out and taking the jig...:cool: Shellback also joined the show...Thanks Gene.....
