Crappie Crankbaits
Getting setup to try some longlining for crappie.I have a happy troller on the way to help slow my motor down found it on ebay for $45 plus $10 shipping.
Well I am looking for crappie crankbaits.Have it narrowed down to The Rebel Crank-R or the 300 Bandit. Not sure which one I want they both seem to be good fish catchers.
Hopefully I can get enough feedback to help me make a decision on which one

Check out the MS state board, there is a good thread with lots of info on pulling CB's. Just one CB won't be enough just like you can't have just one grub/jig/whatever, just don't work that way. What works on a lake may not work on your lakes. GL

Most of the guys opt for bandits the rebel crankd Huckabee showed me looked pretty good

I have pulled cranks for three years now and read a lot of articles. Bandits seem to be the standard "go to" I have some 100, 200, 300's. If I were just starting out I would probably start with 200's. Most guys will compare other crappie crankbaits to Bandits - "as good, etc. " and YES "MS state board" is good for info.
