Now thats the way to rock n roll!!
WOW...I've always wanted to do that! Great memories right there. And great pics! Bit windy to be fishing tho', eh?
All we can say is, DO IT!! Best $150 we spent all weekend. That is called static line diving. You don't pull the cord, it's tied to the plane. Never done it before and now can't wait to do it again. That'll have to wait until early Sept. I'm on a flight plan for heart surgery a week from Friday.
If I jumped out of a perfectly good plane I'd be having heart surgery too.RoflRoflRofl J/K:) Couldnt help it. Glad everyone enjoyed it and I hope your surgery goes well.
That looks like so much fun. I've been saying for years I want to do that .. where did you go? I don't really want to pick a place out of the phone book, if you know what I mean. :)
www.Skydivekc.com out of Butler, MO. Great bunch of guys, very professional. You're not really guiding it down on your own. There are radios in those helmets and there is a guy on the ground calling out instructions/suggestions as you come down and the landing is softer than stepping off a milk crate if you listen to him.
Thanks for the information .. I hope to make it out there someday.
Good luck with your surgery!
If you look at that picture of me, I landed just to the left of my right palm facing the same direction I am in the pic. He kinda guides you in on a ? type route. Shaped like that... not questionable. :)
