A'ite!!!! Fine!!!! Dadgum your hide Yikess

Anybody need a medium RAM mount? I think this is the actual model:

RAM 1.5" Diameter Ball Mount with 6.25" X 2" Rectangle Base & 2.5" Round Base (AMPs Hole Pattern)

I had a LCX19 mounted on it which was a 7" screen and it did fine. Probably would handle a 997 as long as you put some oomph on it and made sure it was tightened down good, but it's recommended for units only up to 7".

Also pretty sure I have a couple of 1" RAMs as well or at least 1 and a couple of extra ball mounts. I had a X102C 5" on these as well as a garmin 482s (both 5") and they did OK, but had to make sure they were good and snug. Really designed for handheld GPS units, but would also make an excellent tie down for a Terrova or V2.

Say $40 for the Medium and $25 for the small?

Wannabe, Let me know how you like the Lowrance's when you get used to them.I have a HDS5 and debating where to sell it and go to HB 898 or to add LSS and a HDS8.I don't like the idea of having 2 transducers on transom, and thinking if I go with the 898 I could swap it out to my other boat, by adding a ducer on it.

I've been doing the math on them too. I've got 3 lowrance and 1 eagle, so will have some for sale either way, but that don't help much.
